  • We were given a Jenny Lind bed that looks almost exactly like the one in the picture. It has been painted lime green and the paint is cracked and chipped. We would like to use it in our gest room, but we were wondering if we should have it stripped or leave it as is. If we use it we need to have a custom made mattress and box spring because it is a 3/4 and we just do not know if it is worth it.

An antique walnut Jenny Lind bed in a natural finish. The bed has a beautiful turned spool design with large horizontal spool rails to the top and bottom of both the headboard and footboard, with small spool rails. Curved ribbed corner elements accent both the head and footboards. The bed has bulbous turned feet. No side rails are present.

More than half the price of Land of Nod. Jenny Lind Twin Bed, White

Q: I'm in love with the kids' Jenny lind bed at Land of Nod, but not the price. Are there any cheaper versions of the bed, or possible DIYs of it?
