Added to the “Classic” mode in which you can just dance on the tracks and get your score, Just Dance 2 also has some great new modes. Players will now be able to create their own team and engage in dance-off contests with up to 8 players. In the Duet Mode, each player will follow a different choreography mixing dance steps and poses that will respond to the choreography of the other, and an added benefit is the new Just Sweat mode where players will be able to count calories whilst shaking their bodies to their favourite songs.
Just Dance 2’s tracklist offers a wide range of songs drawn from classic hits and legendary songs to today’s chart-toppers, including Donna Summer’s Hot Stuff, I Got You by James Brown but also Rihanna’s S.O.S., When I Grow Up by the Pussycat Dolls and many other famous songs for perfect dancing parties! It also features new music styles such as Bollywood or Reggaeton. And for those who still want more, they will be able to download tracks from an expanding catalogue of new hits using WiiWare.
We’ve also previewed and will have a bunch of Kinect reviews coming out later this week. Today, however, I’m going back to the old-school technology to talk about Just Dance 2 on the Wii.
Just Dance 2 will be released exclusively on the Wii™ system from Nintendo on October 12, 2010 in North America and October 14, 2010 in EMEA territories.

Just Dance 2's appeal lies in the breadth of its songs and the routines that accompany them, running the full gamut from out-and-out silly to cool-looking, racing up and down the difficulty ladder as they go. If you scoff at the idea of a challenging dance routine, I defy you to make it through Body Movin' without breaking a serious sweat. There are songs for everyone here, from 10-year-old girls (Girlfriend) to much older girls who are still 10 on the inside (Toxic, When I Grow Up) to people with taste (Take Me Out, Move Your Feet, A-Punk) to people born before 1970 (I Feel Good, Viva Las Vegas).
