This Explorer has been created using more than 380,000 LEGO bricks. The LEGO Explorer has been constructed at Ford’s plant in Chicago to kick off a new long-term partnership between Ford and the LEGO’s newest LEGOLAND theme park in Florida.

    The red LEGO Explorer took over 2,500 hours to create and weights 2,654 pounds. The LEGO Explorer is now set to make the trek from Chicago to its new home in Florida via a trailer with transparent sides so that motorists can check out the special .

  • After its debut at the historic Chicago plant, which produces the Explorer, the vehicle will be loaded onto a trailer with transparent sides so motorists can see the LEGO Explorer as it makes its way to the new 150-acre LEGOLAND Florida theme park just outside Orlando.
