Kids spend way to much time in front of the TV, as much as I hate to admit it, mine is included. But one fun way to get them outside and spark some creativity is with the Little Tykes Sandbox. I highly recommend this durable and cute turtle!! My daughter loves her Grassy and Im sure your kids will love their little green friend too!!
For those folks who dont like sand because of the mess or because kids will (ours have) get it in their eyes, theLittle Tykes Turtle Sandbox could actually be used for other things such as a little wading pool for your toddler or for toy storage. As a friend of mine suggested, it would make a great toy for holding those little bright colored plastic balls that kids like to play in.
Weve had Grassy the Little Tykes Turtle Sandbox for almost 3 years. He has held up fabulously!! Each summer we change the sand adding (3) 50 pound bags of sand. Those bags fill the turtle up nicely. Just make sure the sandbox is located in the area you want him. Once he is full he is almost impossible to move alone. It takes my husband and me to slide him to another area of the yard. And make sure you keep in mind that where ever he is located, if he is on a grassy spot, the grass will die.
