  • With the 90s coming to an end, the luster of the nWo began to wear off and the Attitude Era of WWF began the takeover. The figures were now being done by Jakks Pacific, which brought actual action to WWF action figures. The company would create a wide range of figures with just about every gimmick imaginable. They would also make figures of just about anyone on the roster, including the referees, even though they didn't resemble them that greatly. In fact, resemblance is a problem that Jakks would continue having up until their recent debut edition of TNA Wrestling figures.

    WWF JAKKS TITAN TRON LIVE
Welcome to what I like to call the “Dark Age” of WWF action figures folks. I don’t really know what to tell you about these other than I just hated them. They were a bigger toy than the Bone Crushing ones, but they looked no more like the wrestler than the others and might have looked worse. Orginally designed with a chip in their feet so that when you ran them across the Titan Tron playset part of their theme song would play, these figures stuck around for a bit in the 2000’s until FINALLY something much much better came along from Jakks..

  • So of course, soon after I started watching wrestling I went to Kay-Bee toys and the first thing I saw was a rack of WWF figures made by Hasbro, and I had to have some. They had a few figures marked down to 3 for $10.00, and I think the rest were $6.99 each.

The WWF's exclusive UK home video partner, , run several promotions over the years which allowed the buyer to receive a free WWF action figure upon purchase. In 1991, Silver Vision offered a free #1 with the purchase of "The Best of Saturday Nights Main Event" VHS. This promotion was advertised in WWF Magazines and by . If purchased via Silver Vision direct, the figure was sent following receipt of the order. If ordered via Merlin Publishing, the customer would be sent a voucher they were able to send away to redeem the figure. This figure arrived in a sealed clear bag with the UK Hasbro distribution details on the front along with safety warnings in several languages.
